My Pro upgrade got reset

Note: Apple and Google handle their app stores independently and the pro upgrades are separate on each platform.
If you have multiple accounts on your phone, DroidCam must be installed with the correct one (which owns the purchase).
You can use the "Get Pro" dialog (Android), or the "Restore Purchase" option (iOS), to unlock the app.
The DroidCam apps will hand-off the purchase flow to the local appstore and get the final result. If the pro upgrade is present on your account, the payment portion will be skipped - you do not have to pay again.

You can email support@dev47apps.com if you experience issues. If you think there is a bug, please include the OBS log(s) - use the Help menu to upload the current Log and include the URL your email.
If necessary, you can also find and attach previous logs using the help menu, they are in your home folder:
Windows C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\OBS\logs
MacOS /Users/USERNAME/Library/ApplicationSupport/obs-studio/logs
Linux /home/USERNAME/.config/obs-studio/logs

Un-Installation

Exit OBS Studio to avoid glitches.

Windows PCs
Use Programs and Features in Control Panel to remove the DroidCam OBS plugin.

Linux PCs
Remove 'droidcam-obs' from '~/.config/obs-studio/plugins/'.

Macs
Open the Terminal app and enter
sudo rm -ir "/Library/Application Support/obs-studio/plugins/droidcam-obs"
follow the prompts (enter "y" to confirm), then do sudo pkgutil --forget com.dev47apps.obsdroidcam.

Can I get 4K?

4K will be added with future updates. Please note that recording 4K videos locally on your phone is very different from streaming 4K over the network (even if using USB) and requires high-end hardware.

DroidCam OBS vs regular DroidCam apps?

On Android, the DroidCam OBS app & plugin are separate from the regular DroidCam app & client (these are much older). The regular apps emulate generic webcams, and DroidCam OBS is a refresh that aims to be a more advanced camera.
DroidCam for iOS works with both the plugin and the regular PC client.
